Nancy's stage experience in various performing arts began at the age of four. Her songwriting styles include folk, Celtic Pulse, jazz, and a "new wave a cappella gospel". Her act is a rich blend of these, accompanied on guitar she sings her original tunes and poetic verse. Her diverse repertoire has led her to stages as intimate as Club Passim and as grand as Standards Frost Amphitheater. She currently has two recordings of original material. Festival In My Head is a 1998 solo, live a cappella CD produced by Francis Coakley. 3 Wishes 4 Eve is her debut cd in 1996 recorded at Lake Studios, Ireland, with some of Ireland's finest acoustic musicians, including: Steve Wickham. In New England, she is often accompanied by muti-instrumentalist Steve Sadler. In addition, with her singer/songwriting career, Hewitt is constantly stretching her writing and performing arts into theater and collaborative projects. |
